B.A. (Hons), B.Sc., J.D.
Josh is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he received both an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Peace and Conflicts Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree, completed concurrently. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, while also receiving a certificate in Business Fundamentals.
During his time in law school, Josh worked with the Justice and Corporate Accountability Project which provides legal representation and support to communities in Central and South America who are in conflict with Canadian mining companies. In his final year, he managed the Osgoode Hall Law bar, turning a negative cash-flow operation into a profitable business able to fund deserving social projects.
Josh completed his articling term with GGFI before being called to the Ontario bar and joining the firm as an associate. Josh focuses on corporate/commercial law, including charity law, while also practising in real estate, wills and estate planning.
In his spare time, Josh has coached a successful KW volleyball team, plays a number of sports and serves on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization. He is involved with the music ministry at his church and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
