Megan joined GGFI Law in 2025 as an associate lawyer, after working for the firm as both a summer student and an articling student in the years prior. Megan was born and raised in the Waterloo Region, and is passionate about serving her local community wherever possible. She practices primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation and Real Estate, where she takes a multi-disciplinary approach to assist clients as they navigate their legal issues.
Megan attended the University of Waterloo, where she obtained an Undergraduate degree in Honours Knowledge Integration with Joint Honours in Peace and Conflict Studies. Afterward, she attended the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. While attending the University of Ottawa, Megan completed a placement with Community Legal Services of Ottawa, where she assisted the local Tenant Duty Counsel in providing advice to low-income tenants facing housing concerns.
Outside of the office, you can usually find Megan spending time with friends and family (including her cat, Bijou), reading a good book, or spending time exploring local sights.
